Mental health, behavioral or educational problems commonly interfere with an individual’s ability to function socially and at school or work. Often a client may seek an evaluation if there is an increase in problem behaviors at home or school or a significant change in mood or impairment in social and relationship functioning. Evaluations can help a client or family to better understand the challenges they are experiencing. There may be a point in our lives when we, or our family members, are confronted with challenges that are not fully understood. Evaluations can be helpful in obtaining more information and identifying potential explanations to inform treatment planning. With a proper diagnosis and individualized recommendations, there is a significant improvement in overall quality of life.
Our practice specializes in psychological and educational evaluations for clients of all ages, including children, adolescents and adults, with learning, attention, social, emotional or behavioral challenges. Our goal is to use our professional knowledge, skills and experience to help clients better understand their strengths and weaknesses, leading to increased success in educational, professional and social-emotional functioning. We believe in gathering as much relevant information as we can that pertains to the concern.
